If your new to the game, I HIGHLY discourage you NOT to start your own alliance. Look around. Take a look at the world rankings and at the top 15 alliances. Find one that is in your area an try to apply. But be careful of ones that have many members soon after the start. Those are generally Mass Recruiting Alliances. They won't last long under pressure and are a bad choice. If your unsure who to pick, start reading each alliance's profile. Some will seem childish right away and it might help you narrow down your possible options. Next, look for players that are large, growing fast and in the alliances your considering apply to. Try to talk with them and explain what your up to. In all things, be polite, stay true to your word, and don't act like you know everything (because if your following me this far, your apparently new to the game, or just really bored) Chances are, you'll get several offers and invites. Carefully consider each one and try to pick which one will be most likely to be able to help you, and you help them. Leaders want team players, so if you are one, you'll already be in their good graces. The more willing you are to learn and adapt, the more people will become friendly with you and want to have you on their side when their in a sticky situation. If there is ANYTHING I would stress the most, it would be, BE A TEAM PLAYER.
